Northwestern's Museum Partnership
Northwestern currently has partner benefits with Art Institute of Chicago.

- All Northwestern undergraduate students may visit the ticketing counter at the Art Institute and receive a free ticket when they show Wildcard.
- Faculty interested in bringing classes to the Art Institute can contact Joe Lattal for any ticketing needs or questions.
University Partner Fest at the Art Institute: 11:00am-5:00pm, Saturday February 21, 2026
- University Partner Fest features gallery tours/presentations from faculty and museum guides, student art talks, a reception, and more. No need to register in advance.
- All Northwestern faculty, staff, and student Wildcard holders enjoy free admission to the museum along with the Wildcard holder's guests. No RSVP needed to attend. This event invites communities from the 20+ member institutions.
- For free tickets, a member of your party must show a valid Wildcard at the event registration table at either the Michigan Ave. or Monroe St. (Modern Wing) entrance.
- Getting to the Art Institute from Evanston
- Look for updated details on this page with information about any promotions from SOA to provide Ventra passes to students in the Evanston community.
- Ride Howard-bound CTA Purple Line. Transfer to 95th-bound Red Line to Monroe St. Exit Monroe St. and proceed east across Michigan ave and enter either Monroe St. or Michigan Ave. entrance.
