New Student Action Required

Welcome to Northwestern University and best wishes for a great year! We at Student Finance want to make sure you are aware of a very important matter: your tuition and fees bill for the term.

An email will be sent to your official Northwestern email address notifying you that your bill is available for viewing online. We recommend that you act now, before you are billed, to set your billing preferences.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Your CAESAR Login

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now active on CAESAR, Northwestern’s secure gateway to online student services. View Multi-Factor Authentication options at Northwestern.

Authorized Payer Access for Parents/Other

Students may give permission to their parents or other individuals to view their student account by adding them as and Authorized Payer.

Authorized Payer access includes viewing the monthly tuition bill and making secure online payments.

Authorized Payers will receive an email invitation to complete their registration by creating an username and password and setting up authentication questions for added security.  

For future access, use the Authorized Payer Login. After your initial registration, this is the page you will use to sign in. We recommend saving this link as a bookmark for easy access

Tuition Billing Method

Your bill for the term will be available online in QuikPAY®, Northwestern’s eBill & ePay service. In QuikPAY®, students and Authorized Payers can view or print their tuition bills and bill history, make secure electronic payments from bank accounts located in the U.S., and see a history of their ePayments. They will receive email notification whenever a new bill generates and confirmation of each payment they make. Although tuition is billed each term, charges from other offices at the university (e.g., University Housing, parking & library fines) may be billed to the Student Account at any time. An invoice may generate as often as once a month if there is a balance other than zero on the account or if there has been any activity on the account since the prior billing cycle. See About Your Bill for more details.
