Withdrawing from the University

Policy: If you withdraw after registering for classes, you must immediately file a Withdrawal form, bearing the appropriate signatures, at the Registrar’s Office of your school. Masters students outside of The Graduate School are required to submit this form to their program offices. If you leave the University without official notification of your intent to withdraw, the midpoint of the term will be recorded as the official withdrawal date.

Your account: You may receive refunds, in the form of adjustments to your account, for refundable fees and some of your tuition. Remember, tuition deposits are non-refundable.

A refund due to an overpayment not related to financial aid will be returned to the original source of payment.

Financial Aid: If you are a financial aid recipient, please also review Financial Aid & Withdrawals.
