Place Matters: Welcome to Evanston Program

Friday, September 22

4:00-5:00 pm

Norris: McCormick Auditorium

Want to better understand the Evanston community? We have designed a program to ignite your curiosity about the place where you live and help connect you with some amazing Evanston neighbors! First year students are especially encouraged to attend, but all students are welcome. Hear from various Evanston community leaders and learn about community activities you need to know about!

Local artist and printmaker Ben Blount will be live-producing Evanston posters during this event for attendees to take home for free. Those who attend will also be given first priority to register for a Go & See excursion that will take place during the first few weeks of the quarter. We are offering 9 different Go & See Options to enable you to visit places in Evanston you might not otherwise see!

Register here for Welcome to Evanston Program.

Go and See Tour Options: (walking, biking, and bus options)

*All options will last no more than 2 hours and originate from Norris University Center, 1st floor lobby

*Go and See participants will be guided as a group
