Antonette Narvasa (she/her) is recognized as a 2020 Jazzy Johnson Waw-Jashk Award honoree for their tremendous contributions to the Northwestern community as an office assistant and student supervisor of Multicultural Student Affairs, a counselor for the Summer Academic Workshop (SAW), an InclusionNU Fund Board member, treasurer and president of Kaibigan, treasurer of the Quest Scholars Network, and member of the JubilAsian planning committee. 

In each of her many contributions to Northwestern, Antonette showed up as a mentor figure and worked to build strong community foundations by centering compassion, empathy, and trust building. Antonette’s nominator remarked that she was “one of the most impressive undergraduates [they] have ever worked with,” and that she “truly cares bout the well-being of those she encounters and the world around her, which makes her shine in her ability to mentor younger students, serve as an educator, and engage her communities.”
