Each year, departments from Campus Inclusion and Community host a series of End-of-Year Celebrations to recognize the accomplishments of our students.

Native American and Indigenous Community Celebration

Date, time, and location to be determined.

The Native American and Indigenous Community Celebration is an annual event co-hosted by Multicultural Student Affairs and the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion (OIDI) that celebrates the yearly contributions of Native and Indigenous graduates, students, faculty, staff, and community members. All students who register to participate will receive a white stole with purple and maple and oak leaves appliquéd by hand at the celebration.

SES Graduation Pop-Up

Date, time, and location to be determined.

Student Enrichment Services is excited to celebrate Class of 2024 graduates. All undergraduate students who identify as first-generation, lower-income, and/or undocumented/DACA graduates are invited to drop in and pick up a FGLI graduation gift. Undergraduates who identify as first-generation college students will also receive a First-Gen stole. Graduates can enjoy an array of snacks and activities throughout the day. The official schedule will be shared closer to the event.

APIDA Senior Send-Off

The APIDA Senior Send-Off is an annual celebration hosted by Multicultural Student Affairs to recognize and celebrate Northwestern's graduates of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi descent. All students who register to participate will receive an "APIDA NU Grad" stole at the celebration.

MENA Congratulatory

Date, time, and location to be determined.

The Middle Eastern North African (MENA) Congratulatory Celebration, hosted by Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) and Middle Eastern and North African Student Association (MENA SA), is a commemoration of MENA graduates’ time at Northwestern. This ceremony is to honor traditions, marvel in our graduates’ accomplishments, and recognize their pursuits and aspirations ahead. All students who register will receive a purple-and-white, classic mosaic-print stole at the celebration.

Lavender Graduation

This bookend experience at Northwestern is a chance to celebrate you and all your accomplishments! Lavender Graduation is a celebration put on by the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) to celebrate our lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) graduates. A space of love, joy and acknowledgment, Lavender Graduation is a space to celebrate you in your fullness as member of our community! All students who register and participate will receive a GSRC Pride stole paid for by the GSRC.

The JOY: NU's Black Congratulatory

The Journey of Our Years, or the JOY, is an annual celebration hosted by Multicultural Student Affairs to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Northwestern's Black graduates. All students who register to participate will receive a Kente stole at the celebration.

The Latinx Congratulatory is an annual celebration hosted by Multicultural Student Affairs to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Northwestern's Latinx graduates. All students who register to participate will receive a butterfly stole at the celebration.

Baccalaureate

Date, time, and location to be determined.

Baccalaureate is a multifaith and multicultural celebration honoring a diversity of spiritualities, philosophies, and cultures at Northwestern. Hosted by Religious & Spiritual Life, the one-hour ceremony features intentions, reflections, prayers, and music by graduating students. Staff will offer words of blessing and sending as a part of the celebration. Honoring the collective culmination of memories at Northwestern, all graduating students and their guests are welcome to attend.
