Tabitha Wiggins is the Assistant Vice President for Campus Inclusion and Community.

Tabitha was recently the Director of the Center for Inclusive Academic Excellence at the University of Iowa. A proven leader in student-facing inclusion and justice efforts, Tabitha will oversee more than 25 staff working across some of the University’s most important departments engaged in diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice work: the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center, Multicultural Student Affairs, Religious and Spiritual Life, Social Justice Education, and Student Enrichment Services. A Chicago native, Tabitha spent more than a decade at Iowa, where they led a number of programs and initiatives to support students, including Iowa EDGE, a four-year mentorship program emphasizing BIPOC, first-generation and LGBTQ+ students. Tabitha also oversaw Iowa’s four cultural and resource centers, chaired numerous committees and advised students groups and learning communities.
