Student Organization Conduct Status Report

Incidents that occurred during the 2024-2025 academic year or prior and which resulted in a finding of responsibility will be reflected on this listing through the quarter of their last disciplinary status, restriction, or educational intervention. Once all sanctions are completed, cases involving such incidents will be removed. Please note that such cases would still be considered as a part of an organization’s disciplinary history, if applicable, for incidents occurring after (see below).

Beginning on July 1, 2025, any incidents that occur and result in the finding of responsibility will be reflected on this listing for a period of 30 months, or through the quarter of their last disciplinary status, restriction, or educational intervention completion, whichever is greater. This 30-month period aligns with the disciplinary history window considered in student organization case sanctioning (based on the incident date), should new incidents arise. To learn more about all the sanctioning factors considered, please see p. 25-26 of The Student Handbook.

None of the listings reflect policies of concern that were considered given the allegations, but which were not supported by the preponderance of the evidence available to the University. Nor do the listings reflect policies of concern related to allegations where an organization received Amnesty through Responsible Action because of their decision to call, stay, and cooperate on behalf of those needing care. Note however, that cases involving a failure to complete Amnesty educational interventions may be reflected. Students wishing to report an incident or to share additional information may do so via a Northwestern Community Concerns Report.

Note, cases involving Hazing responsibility findings will continue to be listed on the University’s Hazing website for five years from the incident date, as aligned with the reporting requirements of the Stop Campus Hazing Act.

For additional information on the types of processes used for each case, please reference The Student Handbook Appendix, p. 13-22.
