Evan serves as an Assistant Director of Community Standards. In his role, Evan assists with addressing individual and group/organization allegations of misconduct and leads the University Hearing and Appeals System (UHAS) sanctioning panels. Evan rejoined the OCS team in May 2023 after starting at Northwestern in January 2021 as a Coordinator for Community Standards overseeing COVID cases. Evan transitioned to Residential Community and Support in July 2021 to serve as a Resident Director and Area Coordinator. Evan is certified as a Mental Health First Aid instructor and serves as a team member on the Mediation, Conflict Resolution, and Restorative Practices (MCR) Initiative through the Office of the Ombudsperson.
Evan received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Michigan University in 2015 and master’s degree in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University in 2018.
