ARTIST STATEMENT
"Pippi" is the romanized version of my Chinese nickname "皮皮," which is what my parents, close relatives, and best friends refer to me as back home in China. This track is attributed to my nickname as it represents important familial memories, identities, and heritages that I can hardly connect with while studying abroad in the U.S.
