Solidari-tea - Color Share
APIDA Solidari-Teas are a space for Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) students to come together and build community through reflection, story-telling, and discussions about the APIDA identity and experience. No prior knowledge is required to participate. This is a co-constructed space for students to learn about, from, and with each other.
Join us for an APIDA Solidari-tea discussion about colors and its different meanings- co-facilitated by fellow student Lauren Lee!
Colors play an important role in our lives. They can remind us of a community, a time of year, or our favorite traditions, and can also connect us to our emotions and memories. For example, the color purple can represent Northwestern (Go Cats!) and it also symbolizes a confident leader in Korean culture.
For this Solidari-Tea, we'll be engaging in some creative activities (drawing and writing) to reflect on a color and what it means to you. We look forward to seeing you!
