Frostbite shuttles operate on the Evanston Loop and Campus Loop routes when severely cold temperatures are predicted - temperatures in the single digits or a wind chill factor predicted to be below zero - and/or when blizzard conditions exist. When deployed, the Evanston Frostbite and Campus Frostbite shuttles offer daytime service on two existing evening-based shuttle routes. See below for detailed schedule and route information.
Frostbite shuttles are currently not in service.
The Evanston Frostbite shuttle operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5:38 p.m. It follows the same route as the evening Evanston Loop shuttle.
The Campus Frostbite shuttle runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:57 p.m. It follows the same route as the evening Campus Loop shuttle.
Frostbite shuttles operate when the predicted temperature is in the single digits or the wind chill factor is predicted to be below zero and/or during blizzard conditions. When the shuttles are running it will be noted in Shuttle Status above.
