Kellogg School of Management

Certified September, 2023

Eight offices in the Kellogg Hub banded together over the summer to obtain green office certification from sustainNU. Representatives from the school’s seven academic departments (Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Marketing, Management and Organizations, Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences, and Operations) and Kellogg’s Ford Center for Global Citizenship all committed to 75% of the sustainability actions listed in the Green Office Guide. In addition, the group will recycle batteries, donate used books, and minimize catering waste.

Kellogg’s green team lead Nancy Faunce said, “We’re so thankful to sustainNU for putting together this program! Once we had the go-ahead, their support and materials made certification easy, and we were able to complete it in less than three weeks.” Mariela Flores, Kellogg’s director of academic departments added, “In addition to promoting sustainability, the program was also a great opportunity for teaming across departments.”
