Customized Offerings

In addition to our quarterly workshops, we offer resources, support, and customized programs for Northwestern units across campus. Below are a few examples of the types of programs and events we have organized in the past. Fees may apply.

Trainings and Webinars

Faculty Trainings: Engaging and Supporting International Students

We conduct trainings for faculty who are new to teaching in international and multicultural classrooms, offering them resources, tips, and best practices to effectively navigate this unfamiliar environment.

Example: School for Professional Studies

We organize trainings for staff and faculty traveling abroad, preparing them for navigating intercultural nuances while keeping the focus on the goal.

Example: Ireland 101 Workshop We arranged a two-hour workshop that offered an introduction to cultural differences as well as two guest speakers: Irish Consul General Kevin Byrne spoke about current affairs in Ireland, while SESP Professor Jim Spillane provided insights into the Irish educational landscape.
