Faculty Trainings: Engaging and Supporting International Students
We conduct trainings for faculty who are new to teaching in international and multicultural classrooms, offering them resources, tips, and best practices to effectively navigate this unfamiliar environment.

Staff Retreat Trainings
We join units for staff retreats and cover different intercultural learning topics, relevant to the specific unit.
Example: Northwestern Alumni Association
We organized a training session for staff members in alumni relations, and focused on cultural considerations in global alumni engagement.
Travel Preparation Workshops
We organize trainings for staff and faculty traveling abroad, preparing them for navigating intercultural nuances while keeping the focus on the goal.
Example: Ireland 101 Workshop We arranged a two-hour workshop that offered an introduction to cultural differences as well as two guest speakers: Irish Consul General Kevin Byrne spoke about current affairs in Ireland, while SESP Professor Jim Spillane provided insights into the Irish educational landscape.
