
CTA "El" Train
The Evanston campus, accessible via the CTA Purple Line at the Davis, Foster, and Noyes stops, is located with the Foster and Noyes stops being two and a half blocks west of Sheridan Road.

Permits are required for all campus lots Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Campus lots are primarily used by Northwestern faculty, staff and students. Visitor permits are also available.
Evanston campus visitors can park at the Segal Visitors Center's South Campus Parking Garage or the North Campus Parking Garage.
They can also park in on-campus lots with a visitor parking permit.
Some Chicago campus visitors can park at a discounted rate at Huron Superior Parking (222 E. Huron) or Erie Ontario Parking (321 E. Erie).

Chicago's elevated train, bus and commuter train services are easily accessible from Northwestern's campus.

#147 runs from Michigan Avenue to Foster Street in Chicago and then along Sheridan to Howard Station.
#22 also runs to the Howard Station from the Loop on Clark Street.
#201 runs from the Howard Station along Ridge Avenue to Davis Street and then continues north on Sheridan Road to Evanston Hospital and Ryan Field.
Metra has frequent service to Evanston from Chicago and the northern suburbs on the Union Pacific/North Line (UP-N).
