The Pollack Lab is dedicated to curing sarcoma, and we help patients around the world.
We believe cutting-edge research and sustainability go hand in hand. Some of the ways we practice sustainability include turning off lights and machines, reducing and reusing resources, responsible purchasing by keeping an inventory, etc. Moreover, to minimize waste, we optimize our protocols and often take into consideration the cost of time, resources, and energy of our experiments.
Getting certified as a Green Lab is a gratifying way to recognize our ongoing efforts to create a green lab environment. Nevertheless, our endeavor doesn’t stop here. Beyond the settings of the lab, we will continue the conversations around sustainability. We are committed to minimizing our environmental impact and maximizing our contribution to cancer research.
