Take advantage of the warm weather and bike!
Chicagoland Bike-to-Work week is June 8-14. Active Transportation Alliance and drivelessbikemore.com is hosting a Bike Commuter Challenge. The Challenge encourages individuals to create or join a team of community members, who will log how far they travel during the week. This is a fun opportunity to compete with other Chicagoland organizations to see who can log the most cycling miles. Help us be the “greenest and healthiest” team! We strongly encourage you to join the “Northwestern” team.
In honor of Chicagoland Bike to Work Week and the Challenge, NU will be hosting Bike Commuter Stations on June 10 and June 12. Bicyclists will be able to purchase Kryptonite locks “at cost” from University Police, and bike mechanics will be available to offer a free safety check or lube and air. Refreshments will be provided.
