Gayoung (she/her) is originally from Overland Park, Kansas and is majoring in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She serves as the Director for McCormick on the 2025 Wildcat Welcome Board of Directors. Serving as a Peer Adviser for the past two years, Gayoung enjoys Wildcat Welcome because she is able to help students find their place at Northwestern and introduce them to the wonderful community. Struggling with her own transition into college, she is eager to help others in their transition. She often uses her experience to help others and make their experiences better. In her free time, Gayoung enjoys baking, reading, journaling, and arts and crafts. Her favorite book genre is mystery and current crafts obsession is rainbow loom. On campus Gayoung in involved with a Christian fellowship group, research, and FGLI groups.
