Matt Lengen (he/him) is the Executive Director for Student Transition Experiences. Matt provides thought leadership to develop strategic initiatives and programming around orientation, family engagement, and graduation.
Matt is originally from Rochester, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. John Fisher College, a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Boston College, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development from North Carolina State University. Matt’s dissertation research is on binding admission programs at private higher education institutions and implications for tuition revenue and discounting.
Matt is thrilled to be part of the OSTE team and looks forward to working with students, staff, faculty, and the greater Northwestern community to support our Wildcats!
