Clery Act Security Reports
The Clery Act requires colleges and universities that participate in federal student financial aid programs to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses in an Annual Security Report (published by October 1st each year). The Annual Security Report includes statistics for the most recent three-year period concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Northwestern University and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The Annual Security Report also includes institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other safety and security matters.
A hard copy of the University's Annual Security Report(s) is available upon request from the University's Compliance Office by emailing clerycoordinator@northwestern.edu or by calling (847) 467-6171.
