AlertNU Emergency Notifications

You will automatically receive emergency notices (AlertNU) via email. However, in a campus emergency, a text or call is likely the quickest way for the University to reach you.

To make sure your information is correct and we can reach you by text or phone, please check your contact details in our emergency notification system, Rave, using the Self-Validation instructions. This should take just a couple of minutes.

To learn more about ensuring you will receive emergency notifications visit the Emergency Notification Systems page.

The Northwestern University Emergency Notification System disseminates timely information to the campus community in the event of a threat to safety affecting the University. Emergency messaging keeps the community informed about threatening conditions and hazards.
