Director for Transfer Student Experience
Cecilia (she/her) is honored to serve as the 2026 Director of Transfer Student Experience. Originally from Closter, New Jersey, she transferred to Northwestern from Emory University and is pursuing a double major in Cognitive Science and International Studies. Having navigated the transfer process herself, Cecilia enjoys Wildcat Welcome because, even in its busiest moments, it creates intentional spaces for connection and belonging. She especially values working with students, particularly transfer students, by listening to their stories, empathizing with their transitions, and helping make their experience a little smoother.
On campus, Cecilia is involved in student programming, legal scholarship, intramural athletics, and community-based education and service initiatives. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports like basketball and golf, practicing guitar, hosting game and movie nights, reading literary fiction, going on night drives, and spending time with her guinea pigs, Winnie and Luna.
