Director for School of Education and Social Policy
Matthew serves as the 2026 Director of the School of Education and Social Policy. He is a third-year student from Sterling Heights, Michigan, majoring in Social Policy and History with a minor in Political Science. Wildcat Welcome was a meaningful introduction to Northwestern for him, and he is excited to help carry that welcoming spirit into Wildcat Welcome 2026! He has loved working with the Peer Adviser community and supporting new students over the last two years, and he looks forward to contributing from a Director’s perspective. On campus, he is involved with a political advocacy organization and a student organization for first-generation and low-income students. In his free time, he enjoys riding his bike around campus, thrifting, and exploring different neighborhoods in Chicago.
