Director of Bienen School of Music
Emily Amesquita (she/her) is beyond thrilled to serve as the Director for the Bienen School of Music on the 2024 Board of Directors! Originally from Seattle, Washington, she is now a dual-degree student studying Voice & Opera in Bienen and English Literature in Weinberg at Northwestern. Aside from getting to be among to first to welcome students to campus, one of Emily’s favorite things about working with new students is continuing the work of Wildcat Welcome throughout the school year - getting to know them as peers and friends. Outside of school, Emily is an avid coffee-consumer and loves exploring new coffee shops in the Evanston and Chicago area, running the undergraduate opera company on campus, and walking along the Lakefill. She cannot wait to work alongside the professional staff, Peer Advisers, and her fellow board members to welcome Northwestern’s newest batch of Wildcats!
