The Nikki Library

The Nikki Library

The NIKKI Library (Narratives, Inclusion, Knowledge, Kinship, and Inspiration) is a traveling collection of books that explores identity, justice, imagination, and community. Inspired by poet Nikki Giovanni, the cart is more than a library—it’s an invitation to slow down, explore new ideas, and gather together through the power of story.

We create custom-curated selections for campus events, department themes, workshops, and awareness weeks. You tell us your topic—we’ll bring the books.

Here’s how you can use Nikki:

  • Invite Nikki to your event with a curated collection aligned with your theme or goals
  • Feature Nikki at a retreat, workshop, or celebration as a conversation-starter
  • Request a “pop-up reading nook” in your lounge, classroom, or common space
  • Use Nikki to spark a reading group—we’ll help curate a starting list
  • Highlight emerging voices, archives, or local stories through book-based engagement
  • Collaborate on a themed cart around heritage months, social issues, or artistic movements
