Courage
Courage means that we are willing to do hard things and aim to do them thoughtfully. It means that we are willing to try new, innovative ideas and that we invite others into that creative process with us.
The Office of Community Enrichment (OCE) team includes educators, practitioners, and scholars from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds and a wide array of experiences within and outside of higher education.
Our work falls within and across the following areas of focus: Education; Conflict and Connection; Advocacy and Empowerment. Within each of these areas, we offer synchronous and asynchronous opportunities to get involved through workshops, programming, events, and civic engagements.

Integrity is about consistently aligning our values with our actions and taking accountability for our work and how we show up in it. It means embracing the necessity for change while staying true to our moral compass.
Curiosity is an orientation to the world that positions oneself as continually open to unknowing. It means valuing receptiveness to uncertainty more than getting it right.
Stewardship is about caring for our relationships with both human and non-human entities, building capacity for long-term impact and sustainability in service of the greater good, and ingraining intentionality into all that we do.
Abundance means embracing collaboration, partnership, and the sharing of resources to uplift those around us. It is about finding our bright spots and championing an asset-based approach to the work we are engaging in collectively.
