The Practice of Showing Up Virtual Workshop Series
How do we navigate the tension between who we are and who the world expects us to be? What does it mean to be accountable to ourselves and one another? And how can we approach conflict with courage and care?
The Practice of Showing Up: Workshops on Compassion, Conflict, and Community is a three-part virtual workshop series designed to help participants engage more thoughtfully and intentionally in moments of internal conflict, interpersonal accountability, and community tension. Designed as a sequence but welcoming to drop-in learners, each workshop stands on its own and offers concrete tools, reflective practices, and practical strategies that support both personal growth and collective responsibility.
- "Grounding, Values, Alignment: How to Better Live In and Work from our Values" invites us to inventory some of our core values and consider how to do meaningful work that’s reflective of and informed by them.
- "Accountability in Action" reimagines accountability as a collaborative and growth-oriented practice rather than a punitive one.
- "When Things Go Sideways" builds skill around having hard conversations and transforming discomfort into meaningful dialogue.
Together, these sessions offer a layered and compassionate approach to building more honest, equitable, and connected communities—starting with ourselves. All sessions are designed for interactive participation, creating space for reflection, practice, and community building around these essential skills for showing up authentically in our shared spaces.
