Tim Pure
Access Coordinator
As an Access Coordinator, Tim collaborates with students, instructors, and university staff to arrange learning and campus living accommodations with the goal of creating an accessible and equitable Northwestern experience.
Prior to joining Northwestern, Tim worked at several universities on the East Coast, including Rutgers University and Bridgewater State University. Tim has a background in both disability services and academic support, and takes a holistic approach to student access. His interests include disability awareness training for faculty, assistive technology, and post-university outcomes for students with disabilities.
Tim earned his Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and his Masters of Education from Harvard University. When he is not working for ANU, Tim enjoys playing guitar, hiking (especially in Adirondack State Park in New York!), and volunteering with his wife to help run a local food bank that serves over 250 families in his hometown.
