Access Coordinator

Luci has worked in higher education since 2008, beginning her career as a Learning Specialist, supporting students with their executive functioning skills, and teaching strategies designed to aid in their academic success. Luci previously served as the Director of Disability Services at Occidental College in Los Angeles for nine years. While at Occidental, Luci also led student success efforts, including teaching college skills courses, and leading the College’s tutoring program.

Luci earned a Master's Degree in Education from Seattle University, focusing on college student development and counseling. This is when she first discovered her passion for working with highly capable students who experience barriers to their learning. Supporting students in navigating these barriers, and growing through both challenges and successes, is what she loves about this work.

In her free time, Luci enjoys exploring Chicago with her family, and experiencing proper seasons for the very first time.
