GPS provides programming, training, and resources that contribute to the mosaic of academic development programming of TGS to synergistically foster students’ and postdocs’ academic potential, well-being, and dignity.
- Bouchet Graduate Honor Society: The Edward Alexander Bouchet Graduate Honor Society seeks to develop a network of preeminent scholars who exemplify academic and personal excellence, foster environments of support and serve as examples of leadership, advocacy, and scholarship.
- GPS Graduate Student Internship: The goal of the GPS Graduate Student Internship is to support current graduate students in their aspirations for building community on campus and in their professional development. This 9-month, paid position (renewed quarterly) offers mentorship and leadership experience in a variety of areas aligning with the current Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Success portfolio, namely student affairs, recruitment and retention initiatives.
- GradMAPS: Mentor and Peer Support: The Graduate School's Mentorship and Peer Support (GradMAPS) Program is designed to help first-year PhD students become acclimated to Northwestern. Peer mentors will serve as an additional resource to incoming PhD students and provide support, encouragement, and information as our new students embark on this new academic journey.
