Our beautiful, tree-lined Evanston campus rests along the shore of Lake Michigan and just north of Chicago. On the Evanston campus, you'll find beaches, shops, coffee houses, restaurants, art galleries, and theaters just down the street or around the corner from classrooms, labs, and lecture halls.

The Northwestern University Chicago campus is home to several graduate schools and programs, including the Feinberg School of Medicine, the Pritzker School of Law, Northwestern University Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program (NUIN), and the Driskill Graduate Program (DGP) in Life Sciences. Many of our downtown buildings are connected by bridges and tunnels, providing a warm refuge when commuting between buildings during the colder winters.

Northwestern offers core research facilities that graduate students may use to conduct cross-disciplinary biomedical research. They include the Center for Advanced Microscopy & Nikon Imaging Center, the Flow Cytometry Core Facility, and the Pathology Core Facility, among others.
