Evanston is consistently ranked as one of America’s top college towns and is home to most of Northwestern's facilities, academic opportunities, and student life. Our main campus in Evanston provides a multifaceted experience that is both historical and state of the art.

Our beautiful, tree-lined Evanston campus rests along the shore of Lake Michigan and just north of Chicago. On the Evanston campus, you'll find beaches, shops, coffee houses, restaurants, art galleries, and theaters just down the street or around the corner from classrooms, labs, and lecture halls.
