In Reesha Patel’s Lab, we investigate how social stress, neuroimmune factors, and neuromodulators may contribute to the function of neural circuits. By combining systems neuroscience with detailed behavioral
studies, our goal is to reveal how these factors give rise to aberrant behavioral phenotypes associated with stress-related mental health disorders.
