sustainNU has released its 2019-2020 annual sustainability report. This report highlights Northwestern's progress in addressing our impact on the environment and commitment to sustainability.
Key achievements include:
- Became the first University to receive the EPA’s prestigious ENERGY STAR® Sustained Excellence award
- Partnered with Clearway Energy on 16 community solar projects making the Illinois electrical grid greener and bringing green jobs to the Chicagoland area
