Standard Forbearance Request

To request forbearance from your loan payments for a short time. To qualify the borrower must submit a Confidential Financial Statement before submitting to the school for processing. Please contact Heartland ECSI for more information.

Medical Forbearance Request

This request for temporary loan forbearance is for Northwestern University medical school graduates who are in a medical residency program or a required fellowship program. To qualify, the form must be completed and signed by the coordinator before submitting to the school for processing. Please contact Heartland ECSI for more information.

In School Forbearance Request

This request for temporary loan forbearance is for the NU Loan only. Borrowers who are enrolled at another institution. To qualify, the form must be completed and certified by an official of the attending school before submitting to the school for processing. The form should not be used if the borrower is attending Northwestern University classes. Please contact Heartland ECSI for more information.
