School of Law

Members of the law school's alumni club in Brazil met in São Paulo last May.

School of Law alumni clubs are extending Northwestern’s reach throughout the world. The school’s Web site, www.law.northwestern.edu, lists groups in Switzerland, Belgium, Chile, Brazil and Japan that offer social and professional development activities.

The site also provides information on the law school’s Center for Career Strategy and Advancement, which connects alumni and students to employers in a variety of legal and related fields.

Alumni volunteers continue to make a tremendous impact on the school’s success. Last year more than 300 alumni assisted as judges in Moot Court competitions; 350 alumni from around the world helped the admissions office interview law school applicants; and more than 350 alumni offered students their expertise as career mentors. Check the Web site to learn more about volunteer opportunities.

In other news, the law school is participating in Laptops for Alumni, an exclusive pilot program that offers special rates on Dell laptop computers. Those who wish to participate may contact the Law Alumni Association at a-reed1@law.northwestern.edu or call 312-503-8494.
