Signage and Environmental Branding
Branding your environment.
A branded environment expresses our personality by using our brand assets, color palette, typography, and graphic elements. The images below serve as inspiration*; contractors/vendors should work directly with their Facilities project manager.
*Athletics and Feinberg School of Medicine follow their own brand guidelines. For COVID-19 signage, visit the COVID-19 and Campus Updates website.
The Office of Global Marketing and Communications has a large Northwestern-branded step-and-repeat banner which schools and units may use as a photo backdrop at special events. To borrow this backdrop, please contact Kayla Stoner, media strategist, or Kristin Samuelson, health sciences editor and multimedia producer.
OGMC also has smaller Northwestern-branded pull-up banners which are suitable for use at the entrance to an event or on stage next to a speaker. To borrow these banners, please contact Kayla Stoner, media strategist, or Kristin Samuelson, health sciences editor and multimedia producer.
For assistance in producing a custom, brand-compliant pull-up or step-and-repeat banner, please contact Anne Egger, director of publications.
Student-centric events may use Campton Bold and Campton Medium brand fonts for signage and wayfinding.
OGMC provides downloadable templates for printed flyers, which can be used to publicize events. See our webpage, Best Practices for Designing Flyers, for design guidelines and for access to the flyer templates.
