U.S. Federal Government Initiatives
Most of the sponsored research at Northwestern is sponsored by the United States federal government either directly or via flow-through from another organization. Congress may pass laws affecting all federal agency sponsors which in turn have large affects at sponsored research throughout Northwestern. Recent federal initiatives with wide ranging implications at Northwestern are:
