The GSRC works with university offices and community partners to better connect our campus community to the resources different organizations provide! Some visits are one-off visits and some are on-going!
Testing and Talk with Chicago House
Third Monday of the Month from 4pm-7pm in the GSRC Boardroom (April 21st and May 19th)
Swing by for free, rapid, and confidential HIV, Syphilis and Hep C testing provided by Chicago House. Swing by for testing and/or to chat with queer sex health professionals! Testing will take less than 10 mins and you will get immediate results!
NCA Career Ambassador Office Hours
Spring 2025: Friday's 1pm-3pm in the Makerspace
Career Ambassadors are your chance to create, improve or update your career/internship materials! Swing by and connect with a CA to get help and coaching on updating your resume, linkedIN and/or your handshake profile!
ASLA Peer Tutors Drop-in Hours
Winter 2025: Sunday's 6pm-8pm in the Student Exhibition Lounge
Peer tutoring sessions provide a free friendly, collaborative environment where you can come to get help, tackle homework, or study. Peer tutoring is a great way to get support with a specific question or issue, or just talk through course material with others. Tutors are experienced with the course material, and trained to facilitate learning in inclusive, active environments.
