The Shujaa Award
The Women's Center annually bestows the Shujaa Award, which honors a member of Northwestern staff whose service to the work of gender equality demonstrates courage, tenacity, and an ethic of care.
We encourage students, staff, and faculty to nominate any member of NU Staff doing incredible feminist work for our campus and communities. Applications close April 30th. The Shujaa will be announced at our Garden Party June 4th.
