Our Framework
To borrow from bell hooks, feminism is for everybody. It is a set of values rooted in equality, an approach that produces both the most just and the most compelling intellectual advancements, and an actionable orientation toward the world, open to and beneficial for persons of every gender. Creating opportunities to connect and dream together is an especially vital practice to supporting women and gender-expansive people, now and into the future.
By centering support and scholarship of contemporary feminist thinkers and creating opportunities for students and faculty to empower themselves through meaningful and sustained connections, we stand in service to the Office of Community Enrichment's core values of Integrity, Courage, Stewardship, Curiosity, and Abundance.
