Survival Skills for Graduate Students

April 16, 2025 at Noon-1pm 

All graduate students are invited to come and hear from three faculty members across the humanities and sciences about tips on how to survive and succeed in the academy! They will share their personal experiences and insights of how they got to where they are. RSVP today.

The Garden Party

Co-Working for Caregivers

First Wednesday of every month at Noon-3:30pm

All Northwestern caregivers are invited to co-work with their kids on the first Wednesday of every month. This coincides with district 65 half-days. We will have light programming to keep them busy and places for you to do your work. No RSVP necessary; just swing by.

Gender Inclusive Language Workshop

All University staff, students, and faculty are invited to this entry-level workshop on using respectful language in professional and personal environments. We will talk about singular and plural pronouns, making mistakes, and how we can all speak in our own unique voice and work to have all of our needs met in how we should be addressed.
