Form 1098-T is your Tuition Statement. It helps determine your eligibility for educational tax credits.
Student Finance manages tax information and reporting for students by issuing specific forms that detail financial transactions relevant to education expenses in accordance to IRS guidelines.
By January 31 of each year, the following two tax statements for the previous year are made available to students:
Form 1098-T is your Tuition Statement. It helps determine your eligibility for educational tax credits.
Form 1098-E is your Student Loan Interest Statement. It's used to report interest you paid on qualified student loans during the last year and determine if you can deduct that from your taxes.
