FGLI Advice- "One piece of advice that I would give FGLI first-year is to find a job on campus that allows you to add your portfolio or help career wise. There will be a lot of campus jobs available for work-study; however, find one that allows you to knock two birds with one stone! Find a job that gives you time to do homework or assignments that you can add to your resume."

FGLI Advice- "Although the first year is a big adjustment, you will find the rhythm and rhyme of things at some point, despite what it may feel like right now. There's a place for everyone, and I promise you'll find your people and interests and build a community you'd cherish over time. There are so many opportunities to try new things and explore, and many people are willing to help you find your footing while you figure it out! I'm involved on campus in ways I'd never imagined doing two years ago, like sports and student activism—getting so many opportunities to try new things and connect with new people—and I still have two more years to explore even more; the world is truly your oyster!"
