Bernard (Bernie) Foster joined Student Affairs as the SafeRide Coordinator in August 2011. He joined Northwestern University as a Community Service Officer in 2007 and became a Community Service Office Supervisor in 2008.
Before joining the University Bernie worked at ComEd for 21 years as a overhead electrician special and trouble shooter. He enjoys learning new things and is always looking for ways to make something better. He is a lifelong citizen of Evanston. In his free time he enjoys woodworking, fixing and repairing things, and travelling with his family.
