SAFE RIDE

Service Announcement: Safe Ride does not run during summer quarter. If you are in need of transportation, check out your University shuttle options at www.shuttle.northwestern.edu.

Safe Ride is a ride-sharing service provided to members of the Northwestern community as part of a safe and free alternative to walking alone after dark. Safe Ride operates from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am seven days a week during the academic year when classes are in session, excluding summer session. Safe Ride drivers provide rides from campus to destinations off campus within our Evanston boundaries as well back to campus from within the boundaries. Safe Ride should always be used in conjunction with other safe travel options, such as the university shuttle or NU Safe Walk.

Please note: In order for all rides to be completed by 3:00 am, new rides may not be accepted after 2:20 am.
