Hi! I’m Alicia, a Junior from Denver, Colorado studying English Literature. On-campus, I’m involved in Peer Health Exchange, and I also work as a research assistant for a sociology lab. In my free time, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, watching anime, and spoiling my dog whenever I get the chance to see her. As a fellow, I’m excited to be working with the One Book website and blog to help encourage discussion around this year’s book, Just Mercy.

Hi! My name is Grace, and I'm a sophomore in Medill with a second major in the Asian Studies Program. I've been really interested in Bryan Stevenson's work since I first heard him speak at my high school, and so I'm super excited to engage with the Northwestern community through One Book this year.

My name is Abigail Roston and I am a junior majoring in Legal Studies and American history. On-campus, I am a Leopold fellow in the history department and serve on the executive boards of Northwestern’s Prison Education Program and Contemporary Thought Speaker Series. I also serve as co-president of Northwestern’s Planned Parenthood Generation Action. When not in Evanston, I love hiking and backpacking in my hometown of Whitefish, Montana. After Northwestern, I plan on attending law school to focus on criminal justice reform and constitutional law. Inspired by Just Mercy, I hope to one day become a public defender. I am so excited to be building content and events related to criminal justice reform, social justice, and my favorite book!

I'm Teresa Truong, and I’m a sophomore studying environmental science. I’m from the suburbs outside of Atlanta, and I love exploring the city! On-campus, I am a member of Minichefz, an organization where we cook with children ages 8-12, and it's very fun - albeit tiring. Off-campus, I spend most of my time with my chihuahua or trying new recipes from Bon Appétit. I look forward to working with the One Book team to discuss the role of justice in our current society!
