Hello, my name is Ella DeBode and I am a rising senior from New Jersey double-majoring in Legal Studies and Learning and Organizational Change with a minor in Psychology! On-campus, I am an admissions tour guide, an editorial member of Spoon University, and a research assistant in the Rapp Reading Comprehension Lab. In my free time, you can find me baking or running. When I heard that Just Mercy was going to be the One Book this year, I was ecstatic! I cannot wait to discuss the racial disparities within the American criminal justice system, the pain the death penalty creates, and what we can do to bring about positive change.
