Request a Program
The Off-Campus Life office seeks to help students manage their own affairs by a) sharing resources and b) providing opportunities to learn knowledge and skills relevant to living on one's own. These may include things like: (bulleted list) Tenant rights and responsibilities; landlord/property manager conflict; roommate conflict; city ordinances; how to be a good neighbor; event hosting; financial management; cooking; and maintenance.
The Off-Campus Life office is currently re-staffing and so has only limited capacity to provide educational opportunities during the Winter and Spring Quarters of 2023. However, we will help where we can, and are also actively gathering ideas to put in place to help students in coming years.
Please make any program requests by writing to Jason McKean, Assistant Dean of Students, at jason.mckean@northwestern.edu. Be sure to include the topic of your suggested program, any sponsoring organizations, and a date, time, and location you'd like to have the program occur.
