MCC Wednesdays
MCC Wednesdays are a biweekly space highlighting various creative practices of communities across the globe. MCC Wednesdays include workshops, conversations, resource sharing in collaboration with supporting local practitioners, artists, and educators centering the global majority. It’s a regular space for making, reflecting, and teaching. Designed to continue growing a cultural center students love and shape—across communities. Attuned to the world, attending to one self and one another. All MCC Wednesdays are designed as drop-in for students to stay as long or as little as they can. All are welcome.
APIDA Book Club
APIDA Book Club is a signature annual program which takes place during the Spring quarter. This program is geared towards students who have interest in reading literature written by authors of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi/South Asian descent. The casual book club discussion will provide an opportunity to discuss how literature relates to or informs the students of their own identity and experiences in the larger world. All are welcome.
APIDA Leadership Mixer
APIDA Leadership Mixer is a signature quarterly program hosted by executive board members of Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi/South Asian student organizations on campus. This gathering will provide an opportunity for student leaders to come together as a community to support and co-create with each other. All are welcome.
Solidari-Tea
Solidari-Tea is a signature bi-weekly community gathering space which focuses on topics pertaining to Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi American (APIDA) communities as well special edition sessions which involve crafts. While some topics center the lived experiences of the APIDA community, the events are open for all students to attend. Over tea, topics, and crafts, all students are welcome to use this gathering space as an opportunity to build relationships and community with each other. All are welcome.
