LGBTQIA+ Advisory Board
Born out of a desire to make Northwestern a more inclusive and supportive environment for students, the LGBTQ Advisory Board (LAB) in 2016 when the GSRC was apart of MSA. Since its inception the advisory board has consistent of graduate and undergraduate students.The Advisory Board meets monthly to discuss any issues and or needs students deem important while also providing council and feedback about GSRC operation and events. Some of the Advisory Board’s work includes a shaping GSRC events, sending a delegation to Creating Change, curating the original suggestions for the GQNBT Task Force Report, serving as a space for feedback for various NU departments, advocating for other univeristy-wide changes.
The Advisory board is comprised of student leaders involved in student organizations and/or the Associated student government involved in curating LGBTQIA+ activities for the entire Northwestern community.
